Founded in 1965, COMEPA manufactures and commercializes high reliability components for industry and the health care sector : electronic components and electrodes.
In 1984, COMEPA was chosen by the CNES (National Space Studies Centre) to develop a bimetallic thermostat dedicated to aerospace applications. EUTELSAT 2 in 1988 contained the first space model thermostat.
COMEPA then became the recognized partner of the European satellite and launcher industry.
Based on experience acquired in the manufacturing of very highly reliable components required in the space environment, COMEPA is continuing its development in the industrialization of medical sensors for Cardiology, Surgery, Neurology Anesthesia and Physical therapy.
An industrial policy including an extremely rigorous choice of components, high performance development and production tools, and the knowledge and experience of each team member, have enabled COMEPA to sustain its growth.
Its advantages and successes are those of its customers, the major players in the fields of space and health care.
